For those of you who haven’t already marked this on your calendars, prolific and noted science writer and illustrator Richard Ellis will be at the NBWM on Wednesday, April 20 to launch his new book, The Great Sperm Whale. This presentation is the third night of the four night lecture series, Man and Whales: Changing Views Through Time.
During most Man and Whales presentations, two speakers share their vast knowledge on a variety of cetacean-related topics. On April 20, however, Mr. Ellis will have the stage to himself since this new book covers the historical and the modern.
Join us in the Jacobs Family Gallery for the reception at 6:30 pm, and in the Cook Memorial Theater for the presentation at 7:30 pm.
This is a free event.
