Governor Deval Patrick will announce the results of the 18-month study with Congressman Barney Frank, Congressman Jim McGovern, Secretary of Transportation James A. Aloisi, Secretary of Housing and Economic Development Gregory Bialecki, South Coast Mayors, Executive Office of Transportation staff, South Coast elected and municipal officials, SRPEDD and Commuter Rail Task Force members.The program includes the release of concept plans for 11 stations, a description of the economic activity the project is expected to generate, a map of priority areas for development and preservation in the corridor, and new policy commitments from the Commonwealth.
