Whaling Museum

Dr. Jon Lien, friend to both whales and Canadian fishermen, has passed away at age 71.     What makes this particularly sad for us is that one of Jon’s quotes, written during a book review, is going to be featured in very large letters in the new exhibit, The Hunt for Knowledge.  The exhibit is expected to open at the end of May.  Sadly, we won’t be able to let Jon know that his concise assessment of the difficulties of researching whales will be posted for all WM visitors to read.
